Petrolatum USP Grades, also known as petroleum jelly, is a semi-solid mixture of hydrocarbons. It is used as a skin protectant and emollient in personal care products. It is a colorless to pale yellow or pale amber, odorless or almost odorless, translucent or transparent, semisolid or solid substance. It has good emollient properties and is highly resistant to water and other liquids.
