Phenylbenzimidazole is a sunscreen agent used in personal care products to absorb UVB radiation. It is a white to pale yellow powder with a faint odor. It is insoluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol and propylene glycol. It has good stability in the presence of other UV filters.
